What you will build

A weekly stock and cash review with a realistic expansion decision.

This is the course plan, with practical tasks and the source material to explore now. The full written lessons will be developed from this outline.

The lesson plan.

05 lessons
  1. 01

    Keep one stock record

Give every car a complete cost and document file. Record status, responsible person, next action and the date the money left the business.

Your task Build a stock board and deal ledger.

  2. 02

    Review holding time

Compare expected and actual preparation time, viewings, price changes and sale timing. Use the data to investigate slow stock without inventing a universal days-to-sell target.

Your task Create a weekly slow-stock review.

  3. 03

    Separate cash from profit

Plan payments and receipts, including finance and tax timing. Ask your accountant to confirm the treatment of each transaction instead of copying Hasan’s VAT examples.

Your task Create a rolling cash forecast.

  4. 04

    Expand only with a reason

A lot, equipment and side projects compete with stock for money and attention. Use Hasan’s account of diluted focus as a prompt to assess your own constraints.

Your task Write an expansion case with costs, capacity and a stop condition.

  5. 05

    Allocate recurring work

Create repeatable steps for sourcing, inspection, preparation, listings, follow-up and paperwork. Review mistakes and assign clear responsibility.

Your task Document one weekly operating rhythm.

Put it to work

One practical assignment.

Build a weekly review for your current or hypothetical stock. Track cash tied up, expected receipts, fees, VAT timing, preparation status, days in stock and committed bills. Stress-test a delayed sale before adding another vehicle or a fixed cost.

Before moving on

Revenue, accounting profit and available cash are different. Financing availability and cost depend on the lender and business; the videos do not guarantee approval.
