What you will build

A local demand sheet and a defensible resale range for one exact specification.

This is the course plan, with practical tasks and the source material to explore now. The full written lessons will be developed from this outline.

The lesson plan.

04 lessons
  1. 01

Start with the local use case

Study how buyers use the car, where they drive and which body styles, engines and equipment fit them. Check current local access and running-cost rules separately.

Your task Write a one-page buyer and use-case profile.

  2. 02

    Compare like with like

Control for engine, gearbox, mileage, age, equipment, service evidence, seller type and VAT presentation. A cheaper badge match can be a different product.

Your task Build a comparison sheet with reasons for every adjustment.

  3. 03

    Watch stock move

Use repeated observations of local dealer stock to form hypotheses about demand. Keep uncertainty visible when the actual sale price is unknown.

Your task Maintain a dated stock-watch log.

  4. 04

Set a range, not a fantasy price

Use realistic lower, central and upper sale estimates. Treat equipment premiums as something to test locally, rather than importing values from an older video.

Your task Write three resale scenarios and the evidence behind each.

Put it to work

One practical assignment.

Track ten comparable listings over two weeks. Keep dated screenshots, note changes and removals, and separate confirmed sales from listings that simply disappeared. Explain which version you would research next and why.

Before moving on

An asking price is not a completed-sale price. A removed advert is not proof of a sale.
