The lesson plan.
05 lessons- 01
Pick a buyer before a car
Define the use case, affordable price range and locally wanted specification. Hasan’s beginner examples are starting points for research, not a universal best-car list.
Your task Write one buyer profile and shortlist three suitable versions.
- 02
Protect the money you need elsewhere
Separate stock money from personal commitments, preparation costs and a reserve. Starting with one car keeps the process easier to track; it does not cap potential loss.
Your task Set a stock budget and a separate contingency amount.
- 03
Work backwards from the exit
Research comparable cars before making an offer. Deduct all deal costs and your chosen return from a defensible sale estimate.
Your task Document your maximum offer and a slower-sale scenario.
- 04
Buy evidence, then prepare
Verify identity, paperwork and condition before payment. Turn the inspection into a written job list, with qualified help where needed.
Your task Create the inspection and preparation file.
- 05
Sell, hand over, review
Use truthful photos, clear descriptions and a documented handover. Compare actual costs and time with the original plan before repeating.
Your task Build a closing checklist and a post-deal review.
Put it to work
One practical assignment.
Choose one actual local listing. Complete a buyer profile, comparable-price file, inspection booking, full cost sheet and listing plan. Record the reasons you would reject the deal before contacting the seller.
Do not buy to complete the exercise. Advance only when the documents, condition and full costs support your decision.
