Sold shared by Filip Banik — Filip Banik: Sold. Hi I actually sold this car, but there is a funny little story behind it. I was getting married and wanted to rent a nice car for the big day. But the rental companies were asking around €300–400 for the kind of car I wanted — and even more because it was a Sunday — plus I wanted something faster than an Octavia. So I decided to just buy a car for my wedding day instead, thinking I could sell it afterward for the same price or maybe even a bit more. Two weeks after the wedding, I ended up s…

Risky stuff with nice profit shared by Luka Pavlovic — Luka Pavlovic: Risky stuff with nice profit. In 2024. i bought my first crash damaged car. It was Ford Focus 2021 with 49.000km. Car was crashed in front, airbags went off. I did most of the work myself, like removing the damaged parts, replacing the airbags, and getting the parts. The only thing I paid for was the paint job and some other minor things that i dont know how to do. All in all it turned out to be a very good job. with all costs, the car cost 12.300€, it was sold within a month for 15.800€ so 3.500€ profit made. The profit is good but damaged cars take a lot of time so I avoid them unless the damage can be repaired quickly.

This 9 seater has been averaging 14k€ / year in income for the rental excluding costs. Numbers matter more than what type of car it is.
